Privacy Policy

Last updated: 19 October 2026

This policy explains how Inflatable Pontoon Australia (inflatable-pontoon.com) collects, uses and protects your personal information. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

When you request a quote, we collect:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your phone number
  • The town page you sent the request from

Like most websites, we also collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit. This is used for security, spam prevention and analytics.

Why we collect it

  • To respond to your quote request
  • To connect you with a supplier or installer that services your area, so they can quote on your job
  • To protect the site from spam and misuse
  • To understand how the site is used and improve it

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not add you to marketing lists without your consent.

Who we share it with

We only share your details with a supplier or installer when it is needed to respond to your request. We also use service providers to run the site, including our web host, Google Analytics and spam protection services. Some of these providers may store data outside Australia, including in the United States.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics to measure site traffic. It uses cookies to collect anonymous usage data. You can block cookies in your browser settings or use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

How we store and protect it

Quote requests are stored securely on our website and in our email system. We keep enquiry records for up to 2 years, then delete them, unless we need them for an ongoing job.

Accessing or correcting your information

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it. Reply to any email you have received from us and we will respond within 30 days.

Complaints

If you have a concern about how we have handled your information, contact us first by replying to any email from us. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.
